Swedish cellist Jakob Koranyi has firmly established himself on the classical music scene as one of Europe’s most interesting soloists. Acclaimed for his commanding virtuosity, delicate sound and passion for diverse and innovative programmes, he has toured the world extensively, performing in recital as well as a soloist in Vienna, Cologne, New York, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm and Hong Kong to name a few. Koranyi has an extensive repertoire and whilst he keeps up the traditional cello works, he has also performed premiere works by Julia Wolfe, Anders Hillborg and Andrea Tarrodi.

Peter Friis Johansson has earned international acclaim through his performances with leading ensembles and his prize-winning successes at numerous international piano competitions. He has premiered concerti by Sven-David Sandström and Andrea Tarrodi with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to his solo career, Peter is a passionate chamber musician who has engaged in long-term projects with, among others, cellists Andreas Brantelid and Jakob Koranyi.

Norwegian violinist Guro Kleven Hagen is known as one of the most exciting young Scandinavian musicians of today. She is a regular guest at many leading chamber music festivals such as Verbier Festival i Schweiz och Festspelen i Bergen. Guro has for the past five years been the Artistic Director of Valdres Sommersymfoni – a chamber music festival in the heart of Norway. In 2018 she was appointed first concertmaster of the Norwegian Opera Orchestra.

The Israeli violinist and violist Nurit Stark studied in the Rubin Academy Tel Aviv, Juilliard School New York, Musikhochschule Cologne, Universität der Künste Berlin. Nurit has been guesting as a concertmaster in orchestras such as Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Lausanne Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber musician she has performed in international festivals and has made solo appearances with orchestras around the world. Her love and dedication to contemporary music has led her to collaborate with composers such as S. Gubaidulina, Viktor Suslin, Valentin Silvestrov and Georg Nussbaumer.

Mats Zetterqvist is one of Sweden's most famous violinists. From 1989 to 1994, he worked as the 1st concertmaster of the Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has since been a guest concertmaster in the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Zetterqvist has also performed solo - as a soloist in violin concerts (eg with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra and Gävleborg Symphony Orchestra. In recent years, Mats Zetterqvist has increasingly appeared as conductor or playing leader for various orchestras. Zetterqvist is Professor at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, Department of Chamber Music, Edsberg.

Norwegian violist Eivind Ringstad is a regular fixture on the thriving chamber music scene in Europe. He made his breakthrough after winning first prize in the «Eurovision Young Musicians 2012» in Vienna. 2016 Eivind was appointed into the «BBC´s New Generation Artists Scheme». Eivind is co-artistic director for Norsjø Chamber Music Festival which takes place annually in Telemark, Norway.

Violist Jennifer Stumm is internationally recognized as a leading advocate for her instrument. Jennifer performs in collaborations and chamber music festivals around the world and is a regular participant at the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove and Marlboro Music. She was a founding member of the Aronowitz Ensemble, BBC New Generation Artists and Borletti Buitoni Trust Award winners. Jennifer is currently International Chair of Viola Studies at the Royal College of Music, London.

Award winning cellist, Amalie Stalheim has appeared as soloist with orchestras including Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and Swedish Radio Orchestra. Amalie is an enthusiastic chamber musician and appears frequently at international chamber music festivals. Amalie is the winner of the Norwegian Soloist Prize 2021, Swedish Soloist Prize 2018, Ljunggren Competition 2015, Nicholas A. Firmenich Prize from the Verbier Festival 2015. During the season 2018-2020, Amalie Stalheim was “Artist in Residence” at the Swedish Radio classical music channel, P2.

Cédric Pescia, pianist of dual French and Swiss nationality, was born in Lausanne. His orchestral appearances have been with many reputable orchestras all over the world. In addition to his activities as a soloist, his love for chamber music regularly leads to performances with other eminent musicians. Cédric is founding member and artistic director of the Lausanne chamber music series Ensemble enScène. In 2012 he was appointed professor for piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève.

Björn Kjellman is one of Sweden's most beloved actors. He has participated in a number of TV and film productions, including Fasadklättraren, Den goda viljan, En komikers uppväxt, Adam och Eva, Pelle Svanslös, Zingo, Livet är en schlager, Klassfesten and Se till vänster, där går en svensk. In addition to his acting career, Björn has a great interest in music and has, among other things, participated as an artist in the Swedish Melodifestivalen.

This was the motivation when Amanda Ginsburg received Sweden's composers '/ lyricists' Jazz Prize, which by the way is not the only prize this singer has received: Amanda Ginsburg has won Jazz of the Year at the Grammy Awards not just once but twice (2019 and 2021) and plays constantly for sold out houses around Sweden. She sings about the simplicity of everyday life, the somewhat banal stories that make up a large part of everyone's lives, and she does it with gusto!

Elin Rombo's unique voice and intelligent interpretation have taken her to most of Europe's leading scenes, where she has conquered large parts of the lyrical soprano repertoire. She has also achieved great success in contemporary music, most recently as Régine in Primadonna at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. Elin Rombo studied at the Brandon University Queen Elisabeth II in Canada and the University College of Opera in Stockholm, where she graduated in 2003. In 2009 Elin Rombo received the prestigious Birgit Nilsson Scholarship. In November 2013 she was named Court Singer and in 2016 she was awarded the medal Litteris et Artibus by the Swedish King.

Laura Michelin won first prize in the Swedish Soloist Prize and has since then become a well known name in Sweden. In a short time she has established as a soloist and performed with many of the orchestras in Sweden. She has collaborated with conductors and musicians such as Ryan Bancroft, Michail Jurowski, Roland Pöntinen och Gerard Korsten.

Andreas Sundén is a former solo clarinetist for the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and now holds the same position in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has a professorship at Ingesund Academy of Music and teaches at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm.

Andreas is an active participant in chamber music and the initiator of Nordic Chamber Soloists, which is a flexible chamber music group of leading young musicians from the Nordic countries. His solo performances include Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Jönköping Sinfonietta, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Valenciennes String Orchestra, Royal Army Band, Swedish Youth Wind Orchestra.

Fredrik Ekdahl is leader of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra’s bassoon section and held the same position in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared as soloist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra. Fredrik teaches at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and has held masterclasses world-wide. He is a dedicated chamber musician and regularly performs in festivals all over the world.

Chris Parkes is the Solo Horn player of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and has previously held positions in the Royal Philharmonic and London Philharmonic Orchestras. He appears regularly as a soloist as well as a keen chamber musician. Chris studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he has now been teaching for 10 years. As well as playing, Chris has begun composing and arranging, especially for brass and percussion which have been performed on radio and television.

Bass player Rick Stotijn is a successful soloist and chamber music player. Rick was principal double bass in the Rundfunk Sinfonie Orchester Berlin and Amsterdam Sinfonietta and is currently principal in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Rick is a regular guest at festivals such as the Lucerne Festival, Delft Chamber Music Festival and the International Chamber Music Festival in Utrecht. He is co-founder of the Stockholm Syndrome Ensemble, building programmes around an event, idea or concept.

Ulrik was a member of the percussion ensemble Kroumata 2008-2015, the ensemble performed at festivals and concert venues all over the world. Ulrik is a keen freelance percussionist and plays orchestra and chamber music with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Folkoperan, New European Ensemble, Curious Chamber Players, Norrbotten NEO and Uppsala chamber orchestra, among others. 2010 Ulric founded together with percussionist Magdalena Meitzner the duo ”Hidden Mother” and has toured in Sweden and Europe.

Daniel Hormazábal is a multifaceted concert pianist who is well rooted in the traditional concert audience.

Daniel Hormazábal also has a burning interest in connecting with a younger generation of listeners and in challenging the conventional concert form. Through a long collaboration with the Royal Opera's department ``Young at the Opera``, he has introduced classical music to a younger audience, often in collaboration with singers, actors and dancers, but also as a soloist.

In addition to his solo career Daniel Hormazábal, he is a passionate chamber musician, not least with his acclaimed piano trio ``Trio Scandinavia.`` Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm in 2011, Daniel Hormazábal has performed as a soloist and chamber musician around Europe, the USA and Canada and regularly performed at several festivals in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Italy.

Asuka Nakamura has had competition successes with prizes in the Ljunggrenska competition in Gothenburg and the Blütner Piano Competition in Malmö and the Nordic Piano Competition, Denmark.
Asuka has also twice been a semi-finalist in the Rikskonserters Solistpriset.

Asuka Nakamura has studied for Staffan Scheja at Kungl. Stockholm Academy of Music since 2002 and completed his studies and was awarded a chip medal.

Filip Ekestubbe is a jazz pianist from Stockholm and has since graduated from Kungl. The Academy of Music in 2012, has established itself as one of the most prominent pianists of its generation. In addition to recurring participation in the Norrbotten Big Band, Filip usually appears in smaller constellations at jazz clubs and festivals around the country. In 2007 Filip became the first Charlie Norman Fellow and in 2008 he won both the award for Best Composition and in the category Best Group in the music competition Youth Jazz Comets with a tour in South Africa the following year.
Filip has played and plays with artists and musicians such as Peter Asplund, Magnus Lindgren, Isabella Lundgren, Bo ‘Bo-Kasper’ Sundström and others and has released two records in his own name. Filip has collaborated with Amanda Ginsburg since 2016 and appears on her two Grammy Award-winning albums.

Ludvig Ericsson was born and raised in Stockholm. He studied jazz at Kungl. The Academy of Music between 2012-2015 and has since worked as a freelance musician.

Today, Ludvig mainly plays with Amanda Ginsburg and has been part of her band for five years. He has also studied classical double bass at Kungl. The Academy of Music and has participated in most orchestras.

Ludwig Gustavsson has studied at Lunnevads Folkhögskola, Skurups Folkhögskola and Kungliga Musikhögskolan in Stockholm. Since graduating from the Academy of Music in 2016, he has toured with various artists both in Sweden and abroad. In 2015, Ludwig Ronnie Gardiner's scholarship was awarded to young promising drummers.

Several of Sweden's most successful musicians meet in this quartet with origins in the Askanäs and Leksand Chamber Music Festivals.
